Kath's Story

Kath is our beekeeper, production manager and brains trust. Kath was a successful winemaker with multiple gold medal wines to her name from wineries all over the world. A passionate gardener, Kath was tending her home nursery when she spotted five fat bees collecting pollen from one of her flowers. It wasn't a huge leap from there to deciding she wanted to keep bees! What started out as 2 hives has now blossomed (get it) to 30 hives and growing, and that's how 5 Fat Bees came to be (hehe we did it again.)
